Drambuie 15 year old small bottles are packed with character and a complex flavour profile characterised to be subtly sweet initially with tasting notes pointing to honey and vanilla with hints of toffee and dried fruits. Then follows another tasting layer of wood spices and bitter caramel. This liqueur is made more approachable by the addition of a sprinkling of nutmeg and cinnamon. The finish leaves a grassy aftertaste. Best recommended to be enjoyed on the rocks, this liqeur will also go well with clear spirits.
